Monday, April 10

Meals: Dinner on your own

Our group will fly from San Diego International Airport to Philadelphia Airport, departing at 9:35 am and arriving at 5:50 pm, then proceed to Hershey, Pennsylvania, stopping for dinner on the way.

Tuesday, April 11

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast, we will load up and depart for Hershey's Chocolate World. Explore the assortment of sweet chocolate attractions and treat your senses to the many wonders of chocolate. Our day continues with the Chocolate Tasting Experience, and Create your own Candy Bar before boarding the Hershey Trolley Works for a historical journey through the town built on chocolate and hear the inspirational story of Milton Hersey from our entertaining and informative conductors. Finally, enjoying the Hershey 4D Mystery Show before dinner.

Wednesday, April 12

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

After a stop at the Lancaster Visitor's Center to pick up our guide, we will arrive at a working Amish Farm for our private tour of the barn and house. Our group lunch will be at Miller's Smorgasbord Restaurant before heading to Kitchen Kettle Village and seeing all that Lancaster County has to offer, including homemade baked goods, jams, and relishes, plus food with unexpected touches and picturesque countryside. Stop at Lapp's Dairy Farm Stand for some homemade ice cream. Then it's off to the Sight and Sound Theater for the action-packed musical Moses. After a family-style dinner at Huckleberry Restaurant we'll retire to the hotel.

Thursday, April 13

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

After Breakfast at the hotel, we'll board our coach and travel to Washington D.C. and begin with a guided tour of the Museum of the Bible. Lunch is not provided but is available in the cafeteria. Then we will explore the city with a tour of the Memorials before dinner at Buca di Beppo.  

Friday, April 14

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast in the hotel, we are off for a full day of touring in Washington D.C., discovering America's Christian heritage and the religious history surrounding the city of D.C. and the U.s. Stops along the way include the Church of the Presidents, National Archives, Capitol Hill, the Library of Congress, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the White House.Lunch isn't provided but is available at the U.S. Capitol cafeteria. After lunch, we'll continue our Christian Heritage tour, including Embassy Row and its beautiful circa 1800s architecture and landmarks that are now housing international Embassies and famed statues, including that of George Washington, when we stop in Georgetown (circa 1751), a quaint English port with its history preceding Pierre Charles L'Enfant's 1791 plan of the capital city.We'll have dinner at Pinstripes in Georgetown before retiring to the hotel.

Saturday, April 15

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast at the hotel, we load up the coach and depart for Arlington National Cemetery, stopping at the Iwo Jima Memorial along the way. From the tram, we will see the changing of the guard at Arlington National Cemetery along the hop-on-hop-off tram tour. We will spend the remainder of the day exploring Smithsonian Museums and grabbing lunch at your leisure. Finally, at 4:30 pm we will board the coach and head to Reagan National Airport for our flight home.

   *Contingent on 45 participants. The cost will be adjusted accordingly

  • $500 Deposit is due by October 15, 2022
  • The final payment is due February 24, 2023.
